  • Part 2: Close Up Radio Welcomes Back Yesy Hernandez of Climatisation HVAC

    in Business

Woodland Hills, CA – Yesy Hernandez is the owner and founder of Climatisation HVAC, where she has attained much success, personally and in business. For instance, she is a woman-owned business in an industry that is primarily male-dominated. In addition to being women-owned, she also is a Hispanic-owned business. Most amazing is that she is the first-generation owner of an HVAC company – meaning that she didn’t inherit it from an older relative.
“I work with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning,” explains Yesy. “My main function is to oversee all operations from the smallest to the largest. I do everything from servicing to installation, commercial and residential.”
“As I focus mainly on commercial in the Los Angeles area, especially Beverly Hills and Malibu, I work with a number of high-end boutiques. This includes Moncler, Zegna, Iro, Birkenstock, Kith, Loewe, Tod’s, Amiri, and Chanel among others. I also perform super high-end residential work. One notable client is Joseph Miller, the owner of The Platform in Culver City.”
Much of her success can be attributed to the people in her life.
Ultimately, she plans to grow Climatisation HVAC to be the largest HVAC company in Los Angeles.
Yesy concludes by referring to her mother Teresa. While she recently passed away, she remains a major influence in Yesy’s life. “Never give up!” her mother inspires. “When you make a decision, stand by it. Become hard-working and disciplined. Be a kind, honest, and humble person.”
“All these traits, I thank my mother for,” concludes Yesy.

  • Part 2: Close Up Radio Welcomes Back General Tom Kolditz of Saxon Castle

    in Management

Highland, IL - Retired Brigadier General Tom Kolditz is redefining the role of leadership. With over 35 years in leadership roles on four continents, Tom Kolditz founded Saxon Castle to offer leadership education for corporations and individuals worldwide. Clients have included Ford, GE, Google, Mercedes Benz, Boeing, All State, Goldman Sachs, as well as thousands of exceptional individuals.
Tom’s 2007 release, In Extremis Leadership: Leading As If Your Life Depended On It, addresses another aspect of Tom’s expert knowledge—leadership in crisis and in dangerous circumstances. “When people feel that they are in danger, everything that we refer to as ‘management’ gets stripped away. Nobody cares; they will write any check to get out of the situation, will break rules and policies. In fear situations, it’s all pure leadership based on trust. Building trust is essential for good leadership.
For a flat monthly fee based on income, Saxon Castle clients receive 2 scheduled sessions/month. “If a client would rather have 4 sessions, that’s fine, no extra charge. And if you are having a problem at three in the morning, no problem, call me. I work with clients worldwide, their time zone is my time zone.”
Tom admits that his ideal clients are individuals, and his favorites are relatively young leaders with minimal experience, preferably running a company that’s success will help the world. As a teacher and professional competitive skeet shooter, he has seen how the best learners start knowing very little. “New leaders have few bad habits,” quipped Tom.
